[SACR Members] Project to relocate bells from Greenock and Quarriers Village

To: Members and tower correspondents.

We are now over half way through the project to find new homes for the bells
from St George's North, Greenock and Mount Zion Church, Quarriers Village
(see www.sacr.org/bellinstallation for details). There are currently 3
churches interested from which I hope that we will get at least one project.

I am now making a final round of approaches to congregations to explore
possible interest. If you have any further suggestions for churches with a
sound tower and a congregation that might support a new bell project then
please pass them to me. I have had a good response from the Edinburgh area
but very few suggestions from Glasgow and the West of Scotland. There must
be churches/towers that could accommodate a new ring of bells.

If you are not sure if a church is on our existing list then please suggest
it anyway and I'll let you know the status.
