[SACR Members] 75th anniversary quarter peals

To SACR members,

I am pleased to announce that we have achieved our target of ringing 75
quarter peals in the period between the dinner and the social. The 75th
quarter was rung at Glasgow on Tuesday evening, Plain Bob Royal. (Although,
formally, this is subject to confirmation.)

A very big thank you is due to all of those who worked so hard to achieve
this target, and to those who had the audacity to suggest that we could
event attempt to do it. Well done to everyone!

Congratulations also to all of those who achieved a first in one of the
quarters - I noted some very special ones among them. I believe that we will
have an analysis of this at the social today. A full record will of course
go onto the website in due course.
