[SACR Members] SACR Training day, Inverness and Nairn, 10th March - Final Reminder

Dear SACR Members and Correspondents,

This is a final reminder for the training day to be held at Inverness and Nairn next Saturday 10th March. The programme for the day is unchanged and is as follows:

10.30–11.00 Registration OBS (except Rounds to Plain Hunt theory starts at 10.20 and members of training Group A who can go direct to Nairn)
11.00–13.00 Training sessions IC, N 
13.00 Lunch break, committee meeting OBS
14.00–16.00 Training sessions IC, N
16.00–16.30 Service ringing IC
16.30–17.00 Service IC
17.00–18.00 Tea OBS
18.00–19.30 Open ringing IC
 OBS = Old Boys School (next to IC) IC = Inverness Cathedral N = Nairn

Training topics for the day will be:
Rounds to plain hunt
Bob doubles
Cambridge (minor and major)
Ringing light bells
Ringing heavy bells
Handbells 1 (an introduction to ringing changes on handbells)
Handbells 2 (progressing beyond bob minor/bob major)
Conducting 1 (an introduction to calling)
Conducting 2 (progressing beyond simple touches)

It is still possible to book places as a student or helper by calling Chris Frye on the number below. Ringers would also be welcome to just join us at Inverness or Nairn on the day like an ordinary meeting.
